1856-S $3 Indian Princess Gold PCGS XF45 SS Central America Shipwreck Rare PQ+. Only 41 total recovered in all grades.

In 2014, a second salvage of the SS Central America site was conducted and the fruits of that work have yielded more than $40 million in new treasure. The Ship of Gold is undoubtedly one of the biggest stories in numismatics for the year 2018. It’s estimated that 3,100 gold coins, 45 gold bars, and thousands of mint state silver coins from a private safe within the SS Central America were recovered this time.

The rare SS Central America Three Dollar Indian Princess, a San Francisco Mint small denomination is from the latest SSCA Shipwreck salvage. Not many were brought up the first time in 2001, and they have hardly ever come into the market place since. We expect the same kind of upside potential with these newly recovered shipwreck fractional gold.

Only (41) 1856-S $3 Gold pieces were recovered in all grades. This XF45 was one of nicest for the grade brought up with only a handful grading nicer. This denominations rarity is unmatched when compared to the popular SSCA 1857-S $20 Double Eagle that saw thousands more recovered. This is a bonafide sleeper series for the money.

Comes complete with all the shipwreck packaging and certificate of authenticity.
