1908-S $20 XF40 PCGS. The 1908-S claims the lowest mintage of any business-strike With Motto Saint-Gaudens double eagle, at a meager 22,000 pieces. Most of the mintage was released into circulation, making the issue elusive in all grades today. This impressive XF40 specimen exhibits sharply detailed design elements and lustrous orange-gold surfaces that are lightly marked for the grade. Overall eye appeal is outstanding.
